Hello,
The symptoms are suggestive of dyspareunia(pain during intercourse). Some possibilities which need to be ruled out are endometriosis, genital infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, vulvodynia, ovarian cysts and adhesions which are common after a D+C. I would suggest a gynecologist’s evaluation and an ultrasound or MRI abdomen.
I hope it helps. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
It does sound a little suspicious and you should get a pap smear as soon as you can. It's possible it is some sort of infection or a treatable STD, but if its been a constant issue and you haven't had a recent pap smear you can't rule out cervical cancer. Just know it is possible to have abnormal, cancerous cells and not have to get a hysterectomy. My sister got a procedure, where they just remove the diseased cells and some around it and a year and a half later she was able to gave birth to a healthy boy. So even if it is cancer, that doesn't necessarily remove the possibility of ever having children. I know it's scary but the longer you wait on it, the worst it could get.
