menstrual question

I am a 26yr old female. For about a week my breast have been really sore andI finally got my period Sunday evening, I was cramping so bad I felt like I was in labor. The next day, Monday, I was so light I only needed a panty liner and that night I had no flow and only saw light pink when I wiped after going to the bathroom. The same thing Tuesday and Wednesday, I only saw pink when I wiped after using the bathroom. Wednesday afternoon I had some cramping. Thursday there is nothing no pink discharge and no pink when I wiped. I've had the Meraina IUD removed last year June 2010 and I've had normal 3-5 days menstrual cycle ever since then. What could be causing this?

Sometimes you'll just ahve a weird period for no reason. OR it could mean you're pregnant. I would take a test.

There are lots of different reasons why your cycle would be different then your normal ones. The most easy things you can ask yourself are: Any added stress? Change in your diet? Could you possibly be pregnant? Or where you? I know when my husband and I first got married we got pregnant right away not that far along and I miscarried and it felt like your period you just had. My period lasted about the length yours did and it was really painful. Sometimes our bodies know things are going on that maybe we dont realize we are doing. Like stress, stress can sometimes cause painful periods. If none of these are your situation you may want to go see your obgyn it could be cycts in your ovaries.
