i had a slight milk ooze for like 2 years after i finished breast feeding, my son who i breastfed for about 18months... i thought it was pretty normal and went away eventually.... if your wife is worried tho - i would get it checked out, especially if there is any history or breast cancer or anything in the family

Yes, the nipple discharge is very normal even 2 years after breast feeding. Just to be in the safe side your wife should go see her OBGYN and get a specialist opinion just in case it maybe something more serious that could've developed after child birth. The female body is very strange especailly after child birth. So, yea just to make sure she should get checked for tumors, cyst, infections, hormone imbalance that is also a birth control side effect.  If the nipple discharge is uncomfortible to her the doctor might be able to prescribe a cream or some kind of medication to help reduce or get rid of the problem. Hope this information is helpful.
