more moody then usual

I have my period now and I feel like I am more out of control then normal. I know I get mad and have the normal mood swings. But is it normal to hate everyone around you? I am yelling at my kids for no reason, have had very bad headache for two days now. I really feel like I am losing control and can't do anything about it.

I don't know how old you are, or how old your kids are, but it is normal that as we age, our hormone levels change.  I never had PMS before my kids, and now I am the PMS queen!  Are you on birth control pills?  Those can also alter your moods--and give you headaches...I had to change everything about my hormones after my kids were born.  Hope you feel better soon.  Just get a cup of coffee, and lock yourself in the bathroom for 5 minutes.
Good luck,MH
