period && ovulation

Hi I had just started my period today November 27,but my periods are irregular. I need help on when  I'm going to have my most fertile days and that day I'm going to ovulate on, because I've been trying to conceive about a year now and I still haven't yet. So can someone help me please! And one more thing what do I need to buy to check my BBT every morning.?

Apps on phones really don't work for women who are irregular.  Think about it, how would they track anything internally?  Right.  So don't worry about the app.

So, you have to do this the old fashioned way when irregular.

Here is what doctors tell a woman to do---  first day of your period is cycle day 1.  On cycle day 10, begin having sex every other day for the next 10 days.  Continue the pattern longer if you tend to have longer than average cycles so maybe make it for14 days, 20 days, whatever.  (can't hurt).  And that every other day will hopefully catch the egg.  good luck

I have an app on my phone called " i-sure " - which is amazing! I have always kept track of my periods even before this app - but this app tells me all the days I'm ovulating and are most fertile. All you have to do is type when you first get your period and the calendar will indicate when you are ovulating.. even if your periods are irregular.. if you enter your first day of your period, it will always tell you when it's best to get pregnant.
I use the app for the apposite reason LOL to avoid getting pregnant of course.. and since the app tells me when I'm most fertile, I'm extra careful on those days.. and let me tell you, it's worked like a charm! I hope it works for you!
