Missed period, brown discharge on 9th day after, turned to milky white on 11th

Hi, I'm a bit confused.

I've missed period, got brown discharge (lite) on 9th day after period due date.  Couple of days later the discarge turned to milky white with a touch of light pink.  I'm heavily bloated, have occasional cramps in lower abdomen area, and sometimes back pain. It never happened before...  I'm not on any medication, don't have much stress or extreme workout, normal wight... Does anyone have any recommendations on what might be the cause?

BTW, my periods were irregular for a long time, but the last few years it's been pretty much on time (about 29 days).  I've been trying to get pregnant for over 10 years, so I never used any forms of birth control.  I haven't been diagnosed with any reproductive organs problems, but had one confirmed MC and no explanation for the infertility (did tests for PCOS and thyroid problems - negative).

hello to everyone in this forum;

I found out this forum because I have been doing research about irregular periods.
My case is the following: I've been always a woman with irregular periods. Sometimes, I can even get one month without period. (e.g. i got my period the 14th of may, then the 21 of june, july no period and i didnt get it until the 2nd of august.)
One month and around 10 days ago, I had sexual contact but without penetration, and no protection at all. Since then, I have not had my period, I'm just thinking it is my irregularity, but since I was sexually active, I started to doubt. In addition, I started to get a brown discharge for some days this month.
So my question is: Do you think there is a posibility of me being pregnant? or is it just a hormonal matter?

I will really appreciate your response.

Thank you, thank you thank you, all of you!

I'm using progesterone cream and I think it helped me to conceive...

Have a very Happy New Year, everybody!

Congrats.
Ask your doctor if your hormonal levels are good.  Sometimes, they give you progesterone suppositories.  Only stating this because you had difficulty conceiving and sometimes this is hormonal.  Congrats again.

Thanks for the recommendations, though I was hoping someone is familiar with these symptoms and could provide me with more specific info.  I do plan to see the doctor, but it takes weeks to get the appointment.

By the way, my progress so far...  No more discharges of any color or spotting.  Bloating is almost gone, no more cramps... But the breasts are still full and tender, just like I always have on the days before and during period, but not after that.  Since I'm almost 2 weeks late and whatever I had this time didn't look like any period I had before, I'm not sure what to think about it...

Pregnancy sounds so unreal to me, that I don't want to go there yet.  Any ideas?

Usually, if you were to present these symptoms to a doctor, the FIRST thing he is going to rule out is pregnancy. It is the most common reason a woman will miss her period. I understand your hesitation to trust HPT's after your previous experience with them, but it really can't hurt to give it a try. False positives are mostly unheard of and if it is negative then you aren't going to trust it anyways. I'd give it a try if I were you. And see your doctor. There is a reason for everything. It may be a very simple reason such as a pregnancy, or it may be something more complicated, but it is important that you find out. No sense in torturing yourself any longer than necessary.
I hope you get your answers very soon and please keep us posted. Would love to hear some POSITIVE news from you!

By the way, does anybody know anything about the so called "Miracles Do Happen" e-book, which is promoted by the become-pregnant.com web site?  It promices a lot, but for the price.  It talks a lot about the "secret", which instantly makes almost everybody pregnant, so it sounds a lot like a gimmick...

Please let me know if you can recommend it...

Unfortunately, last time I got pregnant, home pregnancy test was negative and only after miscarriage multiple blood tests done at the ER confirmed terminated pregnancy.  And the test was one of the best money could buy... Since then I simply don't trust these tests.

I don't want to rush into conclusions and that's why asking this question.  Why do you recommend to do the test?  Are any of these symptoms common during initial phase of pregnancy?  May it be an indication of some serious condition?  Please help!

do a home pregnancy test and see you ob/gyn.

Ladies, it's great you ask a question but I am amazed at the hesitancy to see a specialist when you have questions.

A woman's body is so complicated.
