spotting for 2 weeks pregnancy test then next morning -

AF was due on 8/10. I took a pg test and it was a very faint +. The next morning (8/11) I took another test and it was -. I continued very very light spotting for about 2 weeks. I am wondering when I should expect af. The spotting that I did have was so light (only sometimes when I wiped) I don't see how it could be considered af. I think I may have had a chem pregnancy - but how long after that should I expect my next cycle.  Help! I am so confused.

I am going to take another test tonite. But I don't feel pregnant.  In my past pregnancies I have had extreme morning sickness.

Yes - perhaps when you took the second test their was not enough hpt in the urine to show up. Why not re-test...do you feel pregnant?

I agree.. you should take another test... maybe the second wasnt as sensitive as the first or afalse result... False positives are real but pretty rare if read in the time that it says on the box.

spotting in early pregnancy isnt all that uncommon, but can signal things like low progesterone, so you should take a test and if its positive then call the dr and get seen.

You need to take another hpt.  Even though you did get a negative test, you also did get one positive one and without getting your period I'm wondering if you are pg.

If still negative, you can continue to wait, but it could very well be positive.

Good luck and let us know what happens!!!!
