How far along are you? What is your HCG count?

Some people I know have had to get shots immediately when they found out they were pregnant because they didn't produce enough HCG.

When I miscarried, my HCG was like 78. The doctor told me anything below a thousand was an abnormal pregnancy and meant something would probably be wrong with the baby and that miscarriage was usually inevitable. He told me because of modern day pregnancy tests, they have only become more aware of more miscarriages. It used to be women would start later and think their period was late or that they just missed a period-they didn't even realize they had miscarried.

I am sorry you are having problems. Be proactive in finding information so that you can figure out if it is just an abnormal pregnancy, or if you have anything else that may contribute, like not producing enough that you need shot, etc.

I have known someone who was allergic to their spouse and had to get a skin graft to get pregnant. They were then able to have a baby.

Another person whose uterus was heart shaped instead of diamond shaped and she miscarried like 3 times before they figured it out. Once she had surgery to correct the problem she was able to have a baby.

Another friend had to have hormone shots as soon as she found out she was pregnant and was then able to have a baby.

One of my daughters had a tubal pregnancy and lost a tube. She's pregnant again now with a normal pregnancy. Her oldest sister miscarried last year as well and will be trying to get pregnant again soon.

I also had a friend who had to have something like magnesium shots or something because she kept trying to go into labor since she was 25 weeks pregnant. She was able to carry the baby to term.

Will say a prayer for you. I'm sorry you are going through this difficult time.
