Late period of 8 days, Cramps, No Blood, Home Test (-) Can i still be pregnant?

Im 18 years old, and have unprotected sex alot.

I was on the pill for 2 years, and decided to swap to the injection. I was only on the injection for 3 months, when i decided to come off it. This was because it made me start having periods twice a month. I asked my doctor about this and they said it was normal effects from the injection.

However, now i have no protection what so ever.

I am usually always on time when my app MYDAYS gives me a prediction for when i am due on. However, i am now 8 days late. When i was late by just a few days i experienced slight cramping, as though i was going to come on. However, being 8 days late i still have had no blood. I took a test when i was 1 day late and it came back (-).

The only symptoms i have been feeling, are slight nausea, headaches, being tired all the time and severe discharge, however, i do get alot of discharge anyways.

However, could this be that i am late because my periods have gone back to normal? Im confused as i experienced the cramping, and ive only ever been on the injection once and so i dont know the side effects.

Has anyone experienced this before, and actually found out they were actually pregnant after recieving a (-) Test.

Much appreciated if i could hear back from you guys! :)

Thanks, that's the injection I went on, depo provera , I found that it didn't stop my periods, but that was because I didn't let it take its course, it was only when I came off it that I experienced more blood but the doctor said it was just my bodys way of accepting the change. That's why I thought maybe that my blood may have just stopped. I'm next due on the 26th this month , so I suppose will just see. what happens. Then after that I think I will go to the doctor for a test. The thing is, I would feel really stupid, if I just came on .

Thanks !

The injection pill can prolong your periods after coming off it, weather you've had it once or 6 times, i was on the Depo-provera injection last year and after stoppin it it took 14 weeks for my periods to return, im not sayin that it will be this long for you it may only be a month! But if your still worried i'd go back to the doctors and tell them your concerns and im sure they will help you get to the bottom of this
Hope this helps x
Good luck

it is possible to be pregnant after  taking  a home pregnancy test which say negative , you need to take a blood test done to confirm that are you or not pregnant, and the symptoms which you describe are early pregnancy symptoms but we cant go based on symptoms though. Good luck
