Yogurt works fantastic.

medications didnt work for me last time and so i used yogurt which was exactly what your body needs when you have thrush....natural bio yogurt without sugar contains the good bacteria which feeds on yeast...thrush is caused when the balance is knocked off and the bacteria are killed off (usually caused by antibiotics) so all you need to do is replace the bacteria youve lost, creams and pills and what not are not needed.

but no sugar remember...yeast feeds on sugar!

I have successfully treated myself with the methods I have listed, nikkipethoud also has suggested another solution that may work for you - although she is quick to say what we have suggested  will not work I assure you that they do work when taken and with a healthy diet! I do feel your best solution is to probably seek medical advice, especially if this is your first yeast infection. You must be certain that what you have is a yeast infection, it could actually be BV. When you go they will prescribe you diflucan which is a one dose treatment, and it usually works pretty good. In the mean time refrain from having sex so you don't pass it to your partner.

Taking acidolphilus pills will also help your body fight off the bad yeast that is growing within your vagina. Garlic pills can also be bought if you dont want to insert them, but beware of acid reflux (i'm a little sensitive). You can also go to a natural health food store and ask for grape fruit seed extract and ask if caprylic acid will benefit you, but make sure you tell them your trying to treat a yeast infection okay? Often times when you try to treat naturally things take a bit more time to clear up. MOST IMPORTANTLY REDUCE YOUR SUGAR INTAKE, WHITE BREADS,CANDY, GLUTEN PRODUCTS. You are feeding the bad yeast, if you can help it stick to meats and vegtables for 2 weeks while treating yourself, then you can very slowly introduce gluten/sugar back into your diet.

Do not use medication. That usually cuases something else even if it doesn't show up right away.  I had a yeast infection once about 7 months ago and I looked up natural ways to cure it and garlic was the best.  Get a galic clove and each night for 3-5 nights or longer if it is a bad infection, take off one piece of the clove and use the string from a nampon and poke the string into the garlic (be carful not to slice open the galic) when the string is attached and insert slightly into vagina don't stuff it all the way  up, you want to be able to pull it out.  Do this at night because you will smell very strong of garlic and where a pany liner.  Keep doing each night until you see signs of improvement, you should see improvement by day 3. I have done this myself and know it works.

none of those. go to the doctor and they can give you medication. if you have no medical insurance go to a pharmacy and get an over the counter medication like monistat or vagisil. those are always better. a yeast infection is from your ph being imbalanced so just rinsing daily will not make it go away. some doctors suggest eating more yogurt but it's always on top of taking medication.
