I'm having the same problem.  I'm spotting almost every month after a partial hysterectomy three years ago.  My stomach will get bloated and I have a crampy " getting ready to start" feeling.  By the time I get to the dr. it's over and they can't fing anything wrong.  i wish someone could explain it.
