why would i bleed when i insert monistat 3 day treatment?

This could be the start of your periods. But if the date of periods is not expected then it can be due to other causes like infection of the cervix or friable growths of cervix like cervical polyps also. In that case, a pelvic examination is needed.

Bleeding can occur because of trauma while insertion especially in presence of infection. Infection leads to fragility, congestion and increased vascularity of the tissues. Local causes like cervical erosion can also cause bleeding. Consult your Doctor.
