Some meds never seem as therapeutic once you go back on them.

If you were desperate to stop the meds then doing an adequate taper might help.  I'm not sure if the depression is due to the taper or unresolved underlying issues.

I would strongly recommend accessing psychotherapy, if you haven't already.

If you need expert advice you could ask the doctor on the mental health expert forum.

i was also going to say with pills they make us feel better but you must recognize that we still need to continue taking meds even though we feel better :)

I think it will be fine. It doesn't usually take that long for meds to kick back in. Like said if you want to wing yourself off a med, you should always talk to a doctor about it, cuz sometimes even if we don't see it meds are working. It doesn't cure it helps you deal with it, just like theropy, and stuff can help. Good luck with your situation and your med problems.

Be calm it will take some time to get back in your system.
Some info about winging off drugs
It is always best to ask your doctor about winging off on a certain drug. Becasue all drugs are different and some drugs can only be winged off with other drugs.
Realy unless you have medicl knowlege shouldn't just wing your self off such drugs.

Last When you wing off you are destined to return to the condition you had before. If you plain to wing off again i suggest you to go to more tharapy or any. Journaling, meditating, group help, and such things. You must find things to replace what the drug did for you.

congrats to you for trying but you need to remember drugs are a mask. Most drugs dont solve the problem they just mask them. (some dont) So when the drugs are gone the problem is still there. Best of luck to you and i hope all turns out well.
