Enters the cramps, amoung other things.

Well, it's been about 6 or 7 months since I had them, but here they are again. Now I'm realizing why I had them in the first place. I was awakened in the middle of the night last night with one of those monster cramps in the calf, that you have to kick out. Since then I've been getting hit in the ribs and hands all day. My ear has been doing some funny stuff today as well. Kinda just stops working for a second, and then starts right back up again. No, I haven't gotten my magnesium yet, hehe. The store I went to didn't have the particular one I wanted. I just was wanting to boo hoo about it on here :) have a good night all

That was my experience!! Though take it easy, my problems seem to return with overexertion (or, perhaps, a fall in vitamin D levels).

HOLY CRAP!!! Today at almost 4pm, the pain in my feet went to almost nothing. Just like that. Like a switch turned off. My legs feel awesome, compared to how they were feeling. My arm is almost as good an new (almost). I hope this continues.

It sounds like the D2 you're taking is starting to kick in -- the package insert states that you can have muscle pain (cramps) and headaches, perhaps that accounts for your ears. I'm always kvetching  about stuff so I wanted to get back to you on this. Also, make sure you're getting enough calcium, though your body can't utilize it properly until your D level rise.
