Tattoos and Vitamin D deficiency?

Ok, I've had this happen about 8 or 9 times in the past, over the years. My tattoos raise in the skin. Anywhere the ink is, it feels like it did when I first got them, raised that is. They get very itchy as well. I'm wondering if it has something to do with my D levels coming back up, or possibly mag levels dropping off.

Do any of you have tattoos, and have experienced these symptoms?

Does it happen when you e been in the sun? I ask because over the past few years of my d deficiency (undiagnosed until last month ) I developed a sensitivity to the sun which go progressively worse. It started with old scars getting raised and bumpy and really itchy.

Funny you mention that over the years my tattoo does that as well. I'm going to ask my other friends with tattoo's if it happens to them as well. I am vit D def but mine is not raised at the moment.

No it's not something related to your vitamin D or magnesium levels.
Tattoos inks most likely to cause skin reactions, even years after you got them.
