thank you for your comment. I, too, think it is stress, but I will be seeing a cardiologist on Friday...so I will see. Again, thanks for your response.
anxiety does affect the heart and this is a fact. I50/90 is not really a massive concern, the diastolic (90) is at the upper level for normal. A heart rate of 105 is not also a life threatening concern. During exercise many people can increase their heart rate to 160 and above with no complications. After my bypass I was experiencing 186 which I have to say felt great, and the cardiologist wasn't concerned.
Stress is your problem as this causes the level of adrenaline to increase in your blood. This will cause the heart to speed up and your blood pressure to increase. Short spells of stress are actually good for the body, they keep it in shape, but long periods are bad for long term health.
