Herpes from Oral Sex

So when you say that you are immune to the herpes virus (hsv-1) genitally if you already are infected orally, then there is no risk for HSV-2 from their mouth.  I've read on other posts that infections for HSV-1 and HSV-2 can exist in either place... so if HSV-2 is in someones mouth and they give you oral sex, you can't get it?

I say this because I have oral hsv-1, and received unprotected blow job, and no real symptoms although i have a very small abrasion almost on my penis head but no other possible exposures where i could get herpes, I've been tested 3 months after my last possible exposure etc...  it could be nothing and unless my penis is errect and the head is large it is rather difficult to see, but it seems to be there for a good week at least...

Thanks

So Im still a bit confused... if i already have been tested positive for Oral HSV-1, is there no further risk when i receive oral sex? (For herpes that is)???  Meaning that in the future if I recieve oral sex I will not have to worry about either herpes hsv-1, or hsv-2? (because I already have an oral hsv-1)

its more so for further oral events since, I just want to know because if i don't have anything to worry about as far as herpes goes and receiving oral sex, I won't worry as much because the other stds are cureable etc.

This automatically gets kicked over to this forum when you reply to a thread that isn't yours on the std expert forum.

You've been worried about this since at least early summer, why still worrying?
