hey so i called the hospital that diagnosed me 8 years ago and got the results. the swabs they have was positive for strep and positive for herpes. i never had a outbreak after that day or any type of weird tingling or anything. could they of mistaken the strep for herpes or anything else?

thank you, thats good news i heard in awhile. i never had sex in 8 years and im getting married in july. I told her what was going on as well. i was so scared to pass it on to her.. i just wanna forget about this and move on already...

90% of the population has oral hsv.a test will not mistake strep with herpes. Many people never get outbreaks. Some people may get it once a month, usually hsv1 lays dormant. The tingling maybe anxiety, I doubt you have anything.

Herpes can lay dormant in your body. Fact some people never show symptoms. Which herpes are you talking about 1 or 2. I have oral(hsv1) herpes, the last time I had a herpe I was a teenager, I am now in my thirties and haven't had one since. It is possible to have a herpes and not know it. That's goes for all herpes.
