chiropractic related?

it started a few weeks ago, yes I sit at a pc endless hours a day and have for years, and I dont have great posture. I carried a box approx 40lbs and about 5 feet in length on my back with my neck bent, and I also recently starting going to the gym, (mainly cardio) treadmill cross trainer, it started with a dull ache to the left of my spine, just below my shoulder blade, and going into my shoulder blade, if I massaged my upper shoulders on my back it hurt and sometimes I got pins and needles. I went to the chiropractor and he did an exam and x-rays, I am awaiting my next appt. but he did say that my spine was way out of place, he did some test where I stood  and when I moved there were strings on it? not sure of the name, but it showed my posture was incorrect, anyhoo. ever since then my back pain has gotten a bit worse and I also have some pains in my chest area and under arms. sharp pains that mainly come and go. does this sound like a spine issue? or something I should really start to be concerned about?

Yes, much of the symptoms you've described are associated with a spinal problem.
