I have my fist ultrasound next Tuesday Nov 30. I'll be 6 weeks by then. my doctor said we may or may not see the heart beat, but that what they do in my clinic (1st ultrasound 6 weeks and 2nd 7 weeks)

My first beta 11/17 was 150, 2nd 11/19 340 and 3rd 11/22 1040.

I did have my ultrasound last thursday on Nov 11th & guess what??
WE ARE HAVING TWINS! I couldn't believe it when she told us! But we did see both heartbeats on the screen. They were so small and kinda like flickers on the screen. I go again tomorrow for my next ultrasound! I am so nervous and excited all at the same time. I will keep you guys posted!

Thanks a lot dear! Congratulations to you too. I had no hopes that my 2 frozen embryos would survive the thaw. Thanks to God they both made it to the transfer. I just want it to stick for nine months and deliver a healthy baby.

Hello girls,
I am 5 week and 3 days, I had a 2dt(FET) on 19. I used a website, put the reference as 3rd as there was no 2dt option. That's how I came up with 5 week and 3 days. I have my first ultrasound on 19th Nov' hoping to see a healthy heart beat.

Hello itz22 and RStoppkotte - that's so funny we are all 5 weeks and 4 days!  -  I was SO nervous before my ultrasound yesterday - for over 3 years I have waited for a positive test - (only other one was ectopic) and now it's here i'm surprised how terrified I am of anything going wrong! - The ultrasound didn't show much, but they could make out the gestational sack and a small yolk sac - they took my HCG again, and i'll get the results today!   MY Fertility Doctor said i'll be having an ultrasound every Monday with her until i'm 10 weeks, so i'm very happy to be getting weekly monitoring - opefully that will help me worry less!!  She said we should see the heartbeat two weeks from now - so fingers crossed!!
RStoppkotte - thanks for sharing your HCG levels - it's interesting to know kind of what to expect -
itz22 - when is your first ultrasound?   good luck :)

Hey guys!  I'm 5 wks 4 days and had my first ultrasound last Thurs.  A bit early, but I've had one m/c and one ectopic so the doc is watching me closely.  Anyway, no heartbeat that early, but they were able to see the gestational sac and yolk sac and the start of a fetus.  Everything looks good and I go back next week to look for the heartbeat.  My doc said that the heartbeat usually isn't seen before six weeks or when your HCG levels reach 6000.  On Tues mine were 2200 and on Fri 5629, so it should be there next week.  Good luck to everyone.  I hope we all have healthy pregnancies!

I'm also waking up really early -  That's exciting your ultrasound is also coming up - how many days will you be on Wednesday?  Each day that goes by it starts to feel more and more real!  I think when you've tried to get pregnant for such a long time it takes a while for it to sink in that it actually worked!  I'm still pretty scared of anything going wrong, but i'm hoping that after the ultrasound i'll start to relax more :)

My u/s is for wednesday. As for my symptoms my boobs hurt, i go to the bathroom every 2 hours or so, really bloated might be from the hormones also since i had a FET done, i wake up 4 o'clock in the morning. I have no nausea or smell problem but i have like a heartburn or i feel like i have something stuck on my chest.

It will be a little early for a heartbeat, so if you will not see one don't worry. What symptoms you guys have?

Hello krichar,  Thank you for your ultrasound info - This is my first pregnancy that has a chance of working so it's all new to me :)  - I had an ectopic pregnancy last April after IUI - and consequently lost my tubes, so this was my first IVF cycle and I keep having to pinch myself that it worked! - I know it's still early days though....   Congrats on your pregnancy from FET - I'm keeping everything crossed that this will be a successful journey for both of us!   So I guess it may be to early to see a heartbeat, I'm glad to know that so I won't be worried - thank you! But hopefully they can tell how many are in there and if all looks ok! -  I can't wait for Monday :)

Hey there!!! That does seem a little early to be going in for an ultrasound. There have been some women that have seen a heartbeat that early but most don't so no worries, it may be too early!! Most RE's don't have you go until 7 weeks because a heartbeat should be there for sure by then. I am only 3 weeks, 6 days right now and also from IVF (actually FET) This is my 3rd pregnancy with 3 FET's hopefully this is the one that sticks for a healthy 9 months!!
