The tingle in my hands has turned to slight pain.  Should this make me worry more?    Is it Neuropathy?

I apologize doctor.  I didn't see your response when I posted my other stuff.  Also I only reposted the question to get rid of the weird characters where " ' " should have been.

Thank you very much for your help.

As I suggested above, the additional comments (posted before I responded) make no difference.  Do not post any  more.  Ask your health care provider about the possible need for emotional counseling if you cannot shake the idea of HIV despite the overwhemling proof against it.

Also, if I got tested now would the test work because I'm showing some problems?  Or is it still too soon?

Sorry, I don't look at other places for more details.  I don't even look at 'comments' that enlarge on the original question and I'm not looking at yours (below) before this response.  Per MedHelp rules, all information has to be included within the word limit available on the post-a-question site.

First, HIV does not cause the kind of tingling you ask about.  Second, with condom-protected sex, you could not have been infected; the cut in your mouth, blood on fingers, etc do materially increase the risk.  Third, by your description, your partner almost certainly did not have HIV.  Fourth, neither HIV nor any STD can cause symptoms in less than 2-3 days.  There are no exceptions.  Finally, hundreds of things, all more common than HIV, cause the cought and other symptoms you describe.  You caught a chest cold, period.

Have an HIV test if you remain nervous.  You can be certain of a negative result.  Your symptoms have all the hallmarks of anxiety, nothing more.

Do not post any 'yes but' or 'what if' questions.  There is nothing you can add that would change my opinion or advice.  Good luck--
