Complex endometial atypia Hyperplasia

Is there anyone who has had pre cancerous cells in the uterus- atypical complex endometrium (when you have heavy bleeding in about 3-4 weeks, take the gynecologist a biopsy). Did you have the hysterktomi or went atypien away by itself with progesterone or Mirena iud ?

Has your gynecologist given you a copy of the biopsy report? I personally would want to see that. I had an unnecessary hysterectomy with ovary removal and wish I had done things differently. My gynecologist lied about my condition and was deceptive about his treatment plan.

Yes I have seen mine. Simple hyperplasia. And a focal complex  atypia hyperplasia. Very little. What did they told you, and what is the true ?
I did not have hyperplasia. But simple hyperplasia can almost always be cured with medication (a progestin). Complex hyperplasia with atypia is more resistant to medication but has about a 50/50 chance of regressing. It sounds like you have a small area of complex atypia? This article is lengthy but may be helpful - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4695458/.

It may be good to get other doctors' opinions too but in places where hysterectomy is greatly overused, that may not be very helpful. Best of luck to you!
