If you have pain in your buttock does it have anything to do with osteporis

After sleeping and getting up the pain is very severe it takes a while to be able to stand up and walk. Once it stay walking around the pain seems to subside. I usually take some ibuprofen and that seems to help some. If I lay on me left side of really hurts and asked me up. I am 65 and a little overweight

It could be SI joints or arthritis since anti inflammatories help. As far as osteoporosis being the cause, the only way to know would be a bone density scan.

Thank you. I had been diagnosed with osteoporosis but I didn’t figure it would cause pain in the buttock
