Glaucoma doesn’t make the whites of the eye look dull. By far the thing that does is a lifetime of heavy sun exposure which causes the elastic tissue to turn yellow.      On the other questions it would have to be due to the way contact lens fits your eye in different positions.  NOTE: many cases of K-conus no longer require full thickness corneal transplant and can be done with partial thickness corneal procedures which heal much faster.    Early K conus is not treated to CCX or corneal croxslinking which involves dripping riboflavin on the cornea and ‘setting’ it with light. May not be appropriate for advanced case.
