I would try not to worry. It MOST often does move up! Mine did. You are early in pregnancy. Don't take off work. You are at no risk now for anything happening and you'll wind up with cash problems and that causes its own stress. We have such a hard time making an income once baby arrives because all we want to do is be home loving on our little one. :>) So, take advantage of this time financially. But I do understand. I was kind of worried too but statistically, your placenta should move up like most people's does. Hang in there! So exciting to be having your first!! :))) hugs
This is my first baby im due august 7th. But im booked for another scan 28th june. Just panicking a bit ive signed off work on sick as my job involves lift in. It's anterior low lying placenta hopefully will move up don't want as c section
Hello! Definitely ask your doctor but would think you should be able to exercise if they did not caution you otherwise not to. It actually is fairly common to have a low lying placenta at your stage in pregnancy and for most women, it lifts as they get nearer birth. The exact same thing happened to me with my second baby. Everything was fine in my third trimester. So, ask your doctor to be sure. . . here is some information about placenta previa (low lying placenta) but remember, you will most likely have it lift before delivery and they will make sure in your third trimester it has. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/placenta-previa/symptoms-causes/syc-20352768. Doctors do sometimes limit physical activity but they did not for me when I had this at my 20 week ultrasound and it doesn't sound like they put restrictions on you either. good luck
