Have I had Herpes for 6 years without knowing?

In 2018, I was bitten severely by unidentified bugs. A day later I went to the bathroom but when I rubbed skin with sponge my skin got swollen as if bitten by multiple bugs. I shivered uncontrollably, had extreme temperature, and skin itched badly. I was admitted and treated. Symptoms subsided but since then my face, head, entire body has been very itchy till now. At times, I notice parts of my face like eye brow region shaking uncontrollably. Almost 6 years some pimple-like rashes appeared on my back, around my right chest and some between my breasts. They were very itchy and painful ful especially when bathing but they weren't filled with liquid. My girlfriend who visited me 6 years ago had pimples all over her face. I felt she was infected. Her pimples have appeared on hands too. No sores or blisters on genitals or lips or mouth. My teeth however mostly feel as if it's dipped in lemon juice for long. My entire body has been burning and itching since that day making it difficult to even walk in the son in the first year.

Plz, do have herpes? The doctor looked at my rashes after the 6 years and prescribed acyclovir for me. Taking the drugs showed no sign of abating. Skin burns itchingly. Do I have herpes? How can I know?

What did your doctor say? Perhaps you have a form of herpes - there are many herpes viruses. You do not have genital herpes.

You need to talk to your doctor. You've suffered long enough. Follow up with your doctor.
