The temps you mention are normal ranges and not considered a fever. I wonder if perhaps you are having some sort of reaction to the ink. If this continues or worsens, get it checked out since some allergic reactions can become serious.
From an HIV standpoint, tattooing was once considered a possible route of infection but since then ALL tattoo shops are required to use sterile equipment, eliminating the risk of infection.
I dont think there has ever been a reported case of HIV being caught from tatooing equipment.
I might be wrong.
Awaiting for the 90 day mark to get tested again.
recently I have been getting stiff necks almost everyday, with temperature rise up to about 98.6-7, in the evening, my ears get really warm with hot palms, feet and hot breath , including burning eyes , just as if you had a fever.with a mild throat irritation that never seem to get better.
its been 55 days , since the tattoo, and seems like a new symptom pops out every now and then.
I am really concerned ....almost got into a major accident on the hwy due to this. whats seems to be happening to me? HELP?
Why not ask your doctor why you have dry mouth, chapped lips, and red dots on your tongue? HIV would be about the last thing on earth that it could be from.
And whatabout the constant dry mouth with chapped lips and red dots on the tip of the tongue , 47 days after the tattoo?
It was not actually the cable but the , two clips that power up the machine . They switch it out every time they change color or thickness(shading). Some other artists had the clips covered as well, but not this guy and I didnt realize until after. He touched my tatoo after he touched the clips.....to apply cream on the wound.
I think Hepatitis is more likely at tattoo parlors. However, you said that he opened a sterile pouch so you should be okay. The cables touching is not a concern!
You did not contract HIV from what you described. There are many other much more common things that can cause symptoms such as what you detailed in your post. Sometimes you never know what causes nonspecific symptoms such as these.
