Nightmares and removal of thyroid

Just wondering if anyone else had nightmares immediately after having TT? I had horrendous nightmares in hospital the night after surgery. My counsellor who had her thyroid removed around the same time as I did, said she, too had horrendous nightmares the very next day! Remembering that was the very first time I ever had replacement thyroid medication, in the morning. I wonder if it was that? I have had 12 surgeries of varying degrees and never had anything like that before.
Don't want to frighten anyone who may be about to have surgery. Might have just been my stress levels prior to the surgery.
   Just wondering!

I had a partial thyroidectomy and since then I have these horrible nightmares.
It’s awful. It’s good to know I’m not making this up. No one will believe me. It’s been awful.

Are you on thyroid meds?  If os, what dosage?  Also, please tell us your thyroid related test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report.  Even more important, what other symptoms if any, do you have?

I'm sure it is documented but I find i have vivid dreams at times now and since I had RAI. I lean to believe it's the meds. Do you have anxiety? I think if those meds are introduced that may be associated.
