HELP! I am on BC...but I think I'm preggo! :)

Hi, If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.
I think I may be pregnant, although I am on birth control. I am not scared if I am pregnant, I am in a serious relationship with the man I am going to marry, so it is ok. A few weeks ago, I started to have a really horrible metallic taste in my mouth, along with really sore breasts. I knew these were both signs of pregnancy, but didn't think much of it because I am on the pill. I then started to notice that my breasts didn't fit into my bra anymore, they had definitely gotten bigger, and I have always had veins on my breasts, but they have multiplied and are much darker now and more pronounced. I started having really bad gas and indigestion, a long with a really rumbly, hungry tummy, even after I had eaten. I also started to get extremely exhausted and light-headed everyday with pretty consistent headaches and nausea. I have been too tired to even exercise, which I do regularly. With all of these symptoms, I started to get scared about pregnancy even before I had missed my period. I realized I had missed 3 pills around the time I had been most fertile, after calculating when I ovulated, and we did have sex on those days. I am usually very good about taking my pills, but I had been stressed and forgot. I usually get my period as soon as I start taking the 'reminder pills' in my birth control pack, but it didn't come on Monday like it should have, and I took a test on Tues, and it was negative. I got what I thought was my period on Weds, but it has just been very dark brown almost gunky discharge, not the usual bright red period blood. Yesterday I woke up with a horrible migraine-like headache and started vomiting uncontrollably. For the past few days I have had a really horrible lower back ache...and my boobs seem to have more and more and darker veins every day, and today my nipples seem much darker and larger. I also started having hot flashes. The 'period' I thought I was having has seemed to almost stop...and it is still dark brown.
I know that these are all pregnancy symptoms and I missed pills around ovulation, so I may be pregnant, but the test I took on Tues was negative. I just wanted everyones opinion. When should I test again? I know I just could be sick or something and freaking out and feeling more symptoms then I actually have...but I DID vomit a lot yesterday, and my boobs are definitely different..I just feel pregnant....just wanted to know what everyone thinks. THANKS SO MUCH!

I also read a post by Kassie22 who seems like she might be going through a similar situation...she mentioned white in the middle of her nipples, which I have too! I didn't know if that was a normal thing or not, and it was kind of freaking me out, as well, so I am glad she mentioned it. I also have the little goose-bump type bumps on my nipple and breast...including some right by the nipple.....I guess I am just going to have to go to the doc for a blood test....or wait another week to take a HPT...I hate waiting!

Thanks Everyone....The 'period' I thought I was having ended last night (after 2 days, my period is usually 5) and was dark brown and very light the entire time. I woke up this morning and, even though my "period" had ended, my breasts hurt so horribly and I felt so nauseous I couldn't go back to sleep. I took another HPT, as I had bought a pack of 2 on Tues, and this one was negative, too. I just don't know. I guess I will wait till it has been 10 days since my period should have come and test again, only because I am having so many symptoms. Thanks for your support guys.

...well, honestly, that is kind of relieving! With everything that has been going on, especially the changes in my breasts and just feeling so sick, it is good to hear that other people agree that pregnancy might be causing it all! This is very unexpected, but I am okay with it. I have had a few weeks of strange symptoms to worry, and now I am at peace with whatever happens...I can't wait to take another test and find out :)

Although, I hadn't had anything to eat or drink yet...so it was mostly just water and stomach acid...ewww!!! :)

I vomited from the time I woke up (around 10:30 am) till about 2 pm....like 6-7 times within that time period.

sounds like you need blood wok done!!!
some ppl urine doesnt test postivie for weeks after thier missed period(which sucks for those ppl)The hcg homones are just not high enough for teh hpt to pick up...
how long did the vomiting last all day or just the evening, just the morning...?

I stopped taking the active birth control pills on Saturday, and I should have gotten my period on Monday. I got what I thought was my period on Weds, but it was very light....only a dark brown discharge, and has since stopped. It definitely wasn't my period. I read that if you get preggo on birth control it isn't uncommon that you will have some brown/pinkish bleeding around the time of you period because of the hormones in the pills. I had sex on the 9th and 10th and I missed pills the 8th-10th...I checked after I started having symptoms and I should have been very fertile around the 10th and he did ejaculate inside me. After all of my symptoms, especially the vomiting yesterday...I just don't know!
