sorry, i forgot to mention the left eye was the first surgery and that i was not still or silent during it and caused a lot of damage which i hope is temporary...
it is the 40th day after my second surgery, first surgery was about 32 days prior to that. both eyes have swelling internally (had what would have been my final checkup today) and the left eye also has a cloud. i asked specifically if there is any opacification, and he said no, and that the ghosting i am getting is due to the multifocus lens (technis zm900).
he gave me two kinds of antiinflammatory drops to use in the left eye only and said to come back in 15 days. he isnt communicative, and doesnt understand that what i am curious about is going to worry me to death in the meantime.
can you give me some reason why there is swelling if nothing is wrong? is this especially uncommon but possible? can swelling cause what seems like a cloud or mist that doesnt go away, but seems to change position somehow or maybe i am focusiong around it, because sometimes i can keep looking at something and not have the cloud in the way though it doesnt appear to move.
You need to discuss this with the surgeon. Possible causes include the development of swelling (macula or corneal edema), changes in the refraction, retinal problems, and the like. It should not be surgical in nature this far out of surgery.
