The results of a recent study comparing astigmatism reduction using a toric lens vs. limbal relaxing incisions is available online. Go to www osnsupersite com (dots omitted to evade censor), scroll down, and follow the link; it's a "top story" for June 26. Reportedly, eyes with greater than 2.25 D of astigmatism did better with a toric lens; eyes with less than 1 D did well with limbal relaxing incisions. There was not much difference in outcome for eyes in between.
