my is lo 6 months old she has cmpa and has cried every day of her little life she has reflux too and is also very hyperactive and wont let me put her down she had test done and shown a chrome 12 deletion and a 6 duplication they told me they didn't know how it was going to affect her but still at 6 months only weighing 11 pound drinking only 3oz bottles she is so hard to feed but is so strong shes nearly crawling her behaviour does not seem normal she also has a multi cystic kidney and hip dysplasia i just don't know when its going to end but i'm thinking the crom defect could be adhd or autism due to her behaviour
Your Baby probably has sensitivitys to milk ,a lot of children have it doesnt mean they have ADD or AHDD and Yes you should worry about the labels of this, your Baby sounds like a regular bright and clever child dont let anyone tell you otherwise and go by your own Gut feeling, Relax and dont let this concern you concentrate on having a good time with him lots of Fun and Games and good Parenting skills.
Hi, you say auto immune runs in your family i haven't looked into that but would that cause hyperactivity? Is there a connection between them both you will have to let me know, Zoe is allergic to something as her total ige which is an allergic response is very high but don't know what is the cause did he have the full monty? As just blood tests alone are not reliable enough, did he have food challenges? Sharon x
We did have extensive testing done on our oldest at about7 or 8, the results came back with no allergies or sensitivities. Go figure. I can't help but think that they must not be very reliable. Auto Immuns seem to run rapidly in our family, I wonder if there is a conection?
Hi, i think there is a connection with food allergies and adhd, i have been reading up on allergies as my youngest dd who is 17mths as severe reflux, she is also very hyper and mischievious, i know that they have a lot of energy at this age but she just reminds me of my 6yr old dd who is also very hyper. Zoe is due to have some allergy test soon as her total ige antibodies are sky high, spoke to her pead who said he is going to do blood tests, skin ***** tests and food challenges, to see what is causing it. He sounds just like my youngest who is now 6; and although it has been a challenge, he is far from being the ADHD kid that his older brother is. It's tough going so take any help from others that you can. It often seemed as if our youngest was born with collic and never got better. If he was'nt running us ragged, he was sick and miserable.
I wish you the best.
