37 weeks!

Hey all just thought i would update everyone on how im doing, and hope to hear from everyone else that is getting close!!!  I went to the doctor today and gained yet another pound!  Woo Hoo!!!!  Im now up to 24 total pounds and doing good.  I am 1 cm. dilated and a little over 25% effaced.  The best part is the baby is at a +1 station so that made me so excited!!!!  I dont know if that means that im getting closer and closer or if thats just a positive thing.  Anyone know?

I am very uncomfortable and ready to be done but i only have 3 weeks left and the doc. did say "if you go that long!" so that could be fun too!  Alright now update me on you!

Oh well good luck on friday getting him turned.  You should do fine.  I cant give you any advice though sorry!  I would not want a c-section either, yet i have a perfect scar for them to use as a line to cut along if i have to have one.  I pretty much had a c-section (minus them taking a baby out and cutting in my uterus) but i do know how recovery would feel, and i dont want to go through that again!  

Have a great thanksgiving Keril and hopefully the turning brings baby here sooner than later!!!!

I have 3 weeks left as well.  My doctor hasn't checked me either, so i have no idea if anything is happening.  The baby is still breech so the doc is turning him on Friday....I know it is going to be painful, but i really don't want a c-section.  Many people tell me that by him turning him that it could bring on labor.....i can't believe he can be here soon.  

I hope everyone is able to relax with the holiday day's off...hopefully everyone gets them and have a Happy Thanksgiving =)

No i still eat all the time!  I dont sleep though at all....my doc. was like "you have 3 weeks left, well if you go that far"  So that made me happy.  I think thats because im at +1 station!!!!  Have they told you what you are?

I am 38 weeks 3 days and have been 1 cm dilated 25%effaced for weeks!  I go tomorrow so hopefully I have made some sort of progress!  I am seriously starting to get miserable and can't sleep at night - but I am officially on thanksgiving break, which will last through monday 12/1 then I began maternity leave -so no more work for me!  I have had a decrease in appetite - anyone else?

Do you go to a midwife?  my sister said she had to ask her midwife to check her.  I just like knowing things are progressing!

Glad that everything is going well and that things are progressing!
I'll be 38 weeks on Thurs. and am ready as well!  They never check my cervix at any appt. so I have no idea if things are happening...Kind of frustrating and I'm not sure why they don't but I just do what they tell me!
