Not much to tell. It's a benign growth, usually on the head and neck. Once you remove it, it's gone. No prevention needed. I assume your dermatologist or surgeon will see you in at least occasional followup. "Syringocystadenoma papilliferum" is certainly an impressive name though, isn't it? I wish that you should have only unimportant medical conditions with impressive names.
