Infant Rolling Her Eyes Back In Head

When I lay my four month old daughter down, she occasionally roll her eyes back in her head and her eye lids flutter.  She only stops when I put her in a sitting position.  Is this something I should be concerned about?  None of my other children have done this.

Thank you so much Demiguise for responding to my post.  I have made an appointment for my daughter.  On an aside, I also noticed that she has a very small fontanel (about a 1/2 inch across) and will also bring that up with her pediatrician.  I

I would call her pediatrician's ofc. & ask to ck. w/ Dr. abt.
this. At 4 mo., as you know, things are still developing. Nerves
& other things are growing & learning to transmit. It could
even be the length of the eye muscle to an autonomic shifting
from positions. Sometimes you don't notice a child has a
wandering eye until a certain age do to focus or learning
convergence on a object. My guess is that he will do ck. next
appt. & maybe refer you to a pediatric-Opthalmalogist. At this
age though, muscles can shorten as they strengthen if that's
the problem. It's important to track if both are equal in change
when rolling. Like 1 before other is sltly faster? There are
simple finger or toy tests they use to get attn. to trigger
different movements & also tell if any slt jerk happens at time
of eye-roll. It can be several things but timing is big. Need
to see Dr. for appt. or?. I have a nephew that had this yrs
ago. We noticed it only happened when he arched his back & not
when he layed flat. It was 30 yrs ago & they've come a long
way. I think it wasn't addressed till he was 1 1/2. He had the
smallest glasses to wear w/ a special ground lens to pull eye
muscle. After abt 2-3 yrs. eye stopped. Your case is different. But ck-out early on, & even journal if always everyday.
