Know Your Fats

Not all fats are created equal — so it’s important to look beyond the “total fat” counts. Trans fats are especially dangerous — they both lower your HDL (“good”) cholesterol, and raise your LDL (“bad”) cholesterol levels, increasing your risk of heart disease.
