Acne and trying for a baby

Hi if i have acne and i am trying to have a baby what can i do to keep my skin clear? Since I can not take the pill or any pill...

Hi Kate. No oral or topical acne medication can be guaranteed to be 100% safe during pregnancy as there is a possibility small amounts may be passed on to the baby.
The good news is that your skin will clear during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimester. My skin was beautiful when I was pregnant with my son. The oil returned after his birth so I went back on Dianette 21 days after delivery, as I had chosen not to breastfeed. Good luck, Loiloi xx
