I am having a difficult time trying to figure out why my faceFace pain has taken a turn for the worse, I have acne everywhere and I have tried numerous Acne products. I have seen two dermatologists and my faceFace pain is still terrible. Just lately about 2 months ago I was wearing weave and I took the hair out thinking maybe that contributed to the acne and I think it did because the bumps that hurt are no longer on my faceFace pain but now it’s like my faceFace pain is just irritated all throughout the day it just itches all day. I am currently using Dr. Miracle acne treatment, but like I said my faceFace pain is still itchingCauses of vaginal itching Eye burning - itching and discharge Itching Jock itch Muscle twitching Vaginal itching and irritated. Please give me some advice? What can I do? I feel like there is a mask over my face, I just want this nightmare to end.
Hi. Acne doesn't usually itch, and the topical acne remedies you are using may be contributing to the itching and irritation. What did the Dermatologists prescribe? Differin (Adapalene 0.1%) is very effective and is generally well-tolerated by sensitive skins. When using topical preparations such as Differin, rebalance your skin by using a bland cleanser such as Physiological Gel by La Roche-Posay. I highly recommend this product which is available online if there is not a stockist near you.
If you react badly to topical preparations, a course of oral antibotics such as Oxytetracycline 250mg twice daily, may be more suitable.
Female acne patients will benefit from taking the Combined Oral Contraceptive pill since the Oestrogen it contains blocks the action of Androgens -the hormones responsible for acne. Avoid the depot shot, mini pill and hormonal IUD as these can make acne worse.
