Big Pimple-Like Thing

Ok so I have a huge (like an inch and a half across) pimple type thing on my outer, upper thigh. It is really red and kinda purple-ish and hurts when its touched. Under it, it is very hard. I woke up yesterday to find some puss, so I popped it but it is still there and I didn't know if I should worry or just wait for it to go away. Should I put something on it (cortizone or something)? Kinda freaking me out, but I've gotten big zits on other parts of my body (back, etc) and usually they just go away. What do you think I should do?

This doesn't sound like acne, which occurs on oil-rich areas of the body such as the face chest and back. Repost this in the Dermatology Forum and see your doctor for evaluation.
Do not pop acne spots or other lesions. This spreads bacteria under the skin leading to more spots, delayed healing time, secondary infection and even scarring.

I have a huge swollen-ish type zit or wart on my inner thigh close to the vagina but not touching it.
Its purple and smooth but its swollen and comes outward,
I AM NOT sexually active, I find it quite embarrassing to speak to my parents or a doctor about this, i just want a at-home treatment i can do myself, i have tried to pop it but only blood comes out, which doesn't make the swelling go down, its at least an inch across, and its very annoying because I'm planning on having sex soon and i don't want the guy to be like "What the **** is that?!"
But i want it gone as soon as possible, what should i do?
