Scarring from accutane!

My daughters doctor recommended accutane. She went on the drug for six months. While she was on it her acne was exasterbated beyond belief now she has a tremendous amount of bad scarring. Can someone tell me if this is normal and if not what should we do?

Accutane is suppose  to clear acne not make it worst!!!
It does get worse in the beginning, but not to a point of causing scars....
I think it is a coincidence that your daughter was experiencing this.
I don't think it has to do with accutane.
Sometimes you need a second treatment of accutane (maybe even a higher dose). If her acne left scars she can also get microdermal abrasion or chemical peals. Maybe Retin A for scars also can ne helpful. Maybe even laser treatment! Go with an experienced and renown doctor for those kind of treatment.
How is your daughter's acne now? Is it only scars or does she still have acne?
