I have a 21/2 year old that still has baby acne that wont go away! I've been to two different specialist and nothing has even touched it! One even had his blood checked to see if he was going through pubertyPuberty and adolescence early! Scary! Thank God that wasn't the case! Please help! I'm afraid that if I don't find something that will work soon he will have perminant scaring.
Hi. My son has had childhood acne since birth, he is now nine years old. Like you, we took him to an endocrinologist to rule out the possibilty of an early pubertyPuberty and adolescence.
What have the specialists recommended to treat the acne and prevent scarring? My son has been prescribed Differin gel (adapaleneAdapalene topical Adapalene-benzoyl peroxide topical 0.1%). This is not usually recommended for children, except under the supervision of a doctor.
Eloise.
