exfoliation

I've been using a St. Ive's exfoliant apricot scrub for acne prone skin.  It's a salicylic acid derivative.  It has actually helped me everywhere except my forehead and temple region.  I think those areas are actually worse, very bumpy skin there.  Any advice??  And how long after exfoliation should you apply a moisturizer or any other meds??  Thanks

Exfoliation will make the moisturiser you apply afterwards more effective. But if you have very oily skin it is not necessary to use a moisturiser. Use a matifying lotion instead. Clarins make a good cleanser and exfoliator in one with orange extracts. They also make a good matifying day cream to use afterwards. Estee Lauder make a really good exfoliator which leaves your skin so soft it doesn't need a moisturiser. Loiloi xx

Thanks for the advice.  What is the name of the Estee Lauder exfoliator?   And what does a matifying lotion do?  I've never heard of that........Thanks again.
