lump like cysts near nose

hi all.i had acne when i was 13yrs old.in the last 3years i have like jelly cysts/lumps near my nose area i just wondered if anyone had a name for it.my confidence is at all time low.would it be wise going to see skin specialsit?is there any like laser treatment that would get rid.

There are lots of things which can help cystic acne. Taking an anti-androgen contraceptive pill like Yasmin or Diane35 (also called Dianette) will help. You may not need to see a dermatologist (skin specialist) your regular doctor should be able to prescribe the pill, and oral or topical antibiotics for acne.
Laser treatment can be expensive but can help with active acne and any acne scarring. Loiloi xx

hi thanks for that.just seems weird that they are coming now.i am going to make an appointment with the docs.they haven't got yellow pus in them.sorry to sound gross.they are just like raised lumps.

The average age for acne has now risen to above 30 for the first time, and lesions can vary greatly in their appearance according to their grading. I am nearly 32 and have had acne since I was eleven :( You are right to get a doctor to look at them though, as presciption medicines and gels are more effective than over the counter remedies.
