scalp acning, please help!

Dear friend.

I am desperate looking for help. I have had pimples on my scalp for the past years.. I was on accuntane for 2 years and even accuntane didn;t solve my problem after the treatment.
It comes in cycles.. I get about 50 white pimples all over my scalp and it is very unconfortable and makes my self steam very low.
What do i do? Is there any thing or anyone I should look for help? Please I need help asap

What you describe sounds like folliculitis. I know, beacuase of had it. You could try oral antibiotics such as Minocin or Septra/Bactrim DS. Either of these medications are very effective. Also, look for a shampoo or skin cleanser that contains triclosan. There is a brand name called Tersaseptic that contains this.

Thank you very much for your help. I will try that too.  Have you had the same thing?  For how long were you on antibiotics?  I have a doctors appointament this week, I will talk to him about this antibiotics..
