Nauty- Please provide a link for that information- my bet is it doesn't exist. There is a lot of misinformation out there and I for one search for the truth.
Paul- I wouldn't call voting with Bush 90-95% of the time bucking his party. He WAS a maverick- but he sold out. And there are a whole BUNCH of better qualified Republican women out there. The only thing Palin has going for her is being the darling of the right wing. A "big fat resume" generally contains a lot of qualifications.Standard Rovian tactics- attack your opponants strengths.Yeah. I hope they DO start talking issues. McCain/ Palin would rather tell lies over and over again in hopes that the American people will be convinced on the basis of pure repetition. It will be sad if the majority of voters are that gullible... but it is true that they elected Bush twice- so why not expect yet another repeat? God forbid.
Hey, good to see you. Missed you bunches......glad to see you still have a pulse.
Luv,
Nauaty.........
Clearly shows a weakness in leadership. All the baggage, polarization and so on; still an Obama-Hill ticket would have been a slam dunk winner. Biden was a wimpy pick. Change? Right. The dufus opened his big mouth by stating Hill would have been the better pick. There is judgment for ya. ;-) Just keeps getting better.
In contrast, the dems are saying that McCain picked Palin out of pressure from the far right. Farthest from the truth, anyone tracking this should know that McCain has bucked the far right in the best interest for the country. And all the dems can do is say McBush McBush... People on the center and swing independents can see through the rhetoric and the polls are reflecting the 12 pt swing after the GOP. Better start talking issues, cuz "McBush" ain't worken. Now they're using the "puter" card. Haaa.
LovePat,
She did want it !! She asked for it and Obama said NO !!! What a tragic mistake for him. He will kick himself in whatever the color of his house is , because it wont be the White House........He should have put his PRIDE aside.
Big Blunder, OBama
Nauty.......
McCain didn't gain any votes he wouldn't have already had. He just brought the Bubba and Bubbette vote off the sofa- those who don't really look at all the real issues. The popular vote has always been tight. If we can ever get back to ISSUES and away from tabloid politics, things will change. So. Pass the popcon and spread truth about the real issues- that would be a change I could believe in, my friends.
