I am taking these little teasers back to the doctor. I call them teasers because they tease me into thinking they will work to help me sleep, and they never did.
By the way, I have read that trazodone is non-addictive, but is that really true? It kinda seems like it should be.
What dose are you at? I want to try taking it during the day to see what happens. I am just scared I will encounter the same effects I had when I first tried it. I am wondering if I take 100mg, and it only relaxes me, if I should split the pill in half and take one and a half tonight.
I am so insomnia-ed out. sigh
i have also taken this drug, did not have your particular side effect
i quit taking it because it made me feel hung over, and bitchy the next morning
Ive used trazadone since I was 17. It is the ONLY drug that helps me sleep. It makes feels feel kinda like lead and then I pass out. When I first took it I was like this doesn't work and then bam 1 hour later I was out. Im 29 almost 30 and still take it, but Im at a high dose b/c Ive been on it so long!
I love your nickname!!!! I too have used trazadone in the past and it worked for me.I just build up a tolerance to drugs REALLY quickly, no matter what the drug is.I have issues with sleeping and have taken generic sleeping pills (over the counter) as well as prescritions. For o-t-c I've found that doxlymine sccinate (spelling-?) works foe me way better than the dipehnhydramine which is just benadryl I think. For natural remedies you can give melatonin a try....never worked for me though.Good luck to you, keep in touch.Anne
I used trazadone and found it to be both effective and safe. Never had an adverse reaction such as you describe. Good luck to you - I would think that your previuos expereince was as much fueled by your insomniac episode as by the med......
