OMG!!!!!! what a great game lsu vs. kentucky. i was watching my beloved sooners and lsu simultaneously and sorry to say well, i will withold my feeling on that one. sticking to my guns on watching ohio state. someone needs to take out that blasted usf. they should not even be ranked with only 11 yrs under the belt. there are too many teams that would annihalate them in the real world. just thoughts from a hardcore college fball fan...and a diehard soonerfan. soonernation

I know. That sucks, but I LSU is still really good. It happens sometimes to good teams. Look what happened to USC! Are you watching the ALCS game? It's in the 11th inning right now 6-6 tie. Great game. If you are enjoy! Gotta run to go watch. Just checkin in. Talk to you soon!

Correction from my last post. The Yanks lost 4 in a row, not three. I think my mind was unconsciously trying to convince me that maybe it was only three to avoid remembering that nightmare!

I am a huge sports fan in general. I don't have a favorite college football team, although I should since I live in Texas (=, but I just love watching the games b/c the quality of play is so great, even better than the NFL at times (BTW I am a New York Giants fan in that domain all the way baby). I did catch some of that game and what a great game it was. LSU has a hell of a team and has a very good chance of going all the way this year. College football is the only sport I can watch without biasing based on my favorite team. That's what makes it so great for me. No stress about who is going to win or lose (although I do route from time to time), just great ball. I don't get that in the NFL, NBA (Mavs fan), NHL (Stars fan, but I also like the Islanders, New Yorker at heart I guess), and esp. in baseball. I was born a Yankee's fan, and I am damn proud of that one! Yes, I know Cleveland knocked them out. That's o.k. They have to get better starting pitching and go back to their winning ways in the postseason. The Yanks have given me so many great years filled with excitement and championships, that I have a very hard time getting mad at them, even though they went out in the first round. However, I was really ticked when we blew 3 in a row to the Red Sox a couple of years ago. I almost threw the televison out the window and sank into a deep depression for awhile. Sports can definately do that to you, esp. when you are passionate about it like me. Good post and take care!

i will give lsu all the credit this year. i think you guys will probably take it. but beware of ohio state, they are going to sneak in the back, and next 3 years you better get ready for bob stoops and company cuz we have a pretty good record with 7 national cham and many more big 12 cham. we have a great qback if he stays healthy. comeon you guys, you have to admit the sooners cannot be overlooked in the next year or 2. and weirder things have happened. after all didn't lsu beat ou for the national championship? that was pretty weird.lol....good luck to all
