Church

by Coolio Hernendez, Aug 31, 2008 09:39AM
Well here i am 1 week after my eye opening event. My family is getting ready for church and i am really really happy . I used to dread Sunday mornings b/c i would have to come up with some reason why they would have to go without me...
I didnt know what i was missing. Not just what the mass teaches but more about the quality time spent with my family. It is also a great time to talk to my 7 year old about the realitys of life.

I'm just so happy that i had a chance to turn this all around. Life is a million times better then it ever has been.

PS: For those that dont know....I cancelled the PM appointment i had for Thursday and told them that i would not need to make any further app. The nurse was happy for me.

I'm getting ready for church too...I just wanted to let you know, Be ready, Satan loves Sunday mornings...he's always in our house, making sure everyone is cranky, can't find clothes, running late, bickering, doddeling...so on and so forth. He wants to be sure you're miserable and will just give up and not go...He loves Sunday mornings. I have witnessed it first hand in my home. No matter how well prepared I get the night before, something always seems to creep in. But God is good! We get there, not without struggle but we do and it gets easier and easier...
Good for you, on going!
God Bless you and your family,
Newgirl

I am so glad that you have this chance and are using it properly. I am sure you know that those of us that get second chances are probably in the minority among members...... and I wish nothing but the best for you and yours -  - -
