Progress to date:
7/30 - Lowered my usage to 20mg once in the morning. Felt fine all day and slept good.
7/31 - 20mg in the morning. I was very irritable by the afternoon. Hot/Cold all night. Didn't sleep well.
8/1 - 20mg this morning. Wasn't feeling very well today until I took my dose. We'll see how it goes.
Just some background:
I am a Test Engineer for a large Aerospace Company. I live 63 miles from work. So I am in the car for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours a day. I get up at 3:30am, get to work at 4:30am and work till 5:00pm and get home about 7:00pm. I then eat and play with the kids (5 of them, 3 girls and 2 boys) and go to bed about 9:30pm or 10:00pm. I do all this 5-6 times a week. This is why I decided to try and taper my usage to try and not affect my work.
To see these positive comments from everyone makes me feel like this is the right thing to do and your support is helping more then you know (my wife has no idea about my oxy addiction). I will tell her, but after I get through this myself.
Thanks again to everyone.

Please keep posting and let us know how you are doing. It sounds like you have done great with your tapering plan. At that rate your withdrawals shouldnt be too bad. Drink lots of water, maybe take some vitamins and just keep on doing what you are doing. You are almost there!
