Great Movie

I was watching a old movie the other day. It was "One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest" with a very young Jack Nicholson, Danny Devito and John Malchovitz. It was such a great movie and that Nurse Ratchett was the scariest, meanest woman I ever saw. I don't know what her name in real life is? If you haven't seen the movie, try and watch for it. You will really enjoy it. The end is fantastic and shows what real friendship is all about.

You guys crack me up.  My husband is always sweet enough to remind me how old I am.  A movie from the 50s will be on and he'll ask me if I saw it in the theatre when I was a kid.  Gotta love it...

Someone is a real wise guy today. Well, we had a nice horse and carriage and would go into town on Sunday. I had to make sure all the wood was chopped and the outhouse was clean. My mother would go down to the river to wash our clothes. One day when the medicine man came to town, I bought some of his special salts. That was my first taste of an opiate. It was down hill from there. I would gather roots and sell them to the locals, I wanted to get enough money before the medicine man came back. My ole Uncle Henry used to make moonshine and the adults would drink that on Saturday night when they went to the Ole Barn to square dance. :)

Well when I was growing up it was like the Jetsons. Flying cars and all that.  Wait that wouldn't make sense - we do not have flying cars now! lol  Or maybe they are called airplanes.  Coming from the time you did you would not know about these...but I am going to tell you somthing humans have the ability to fly now.  In these huge steel tubes...it is pretty amazing.

This is a real old movie and I watch it everytime it is on. It is "To Kill a Mockingbird" and it just makes me want to be a kid again.

I love old movies and well movies period!  I have not seen that one in a long time.  I am going to have to watch it again.  It is funny how life imitates art (movies)...so many similarities.

My favorite movie of all time is The English Patient - love, love that movie!!  I might have mentioned that if I did I am sorry! lol  Just talking about it makes me want to watch it again.
